  • Dreaming Big.

    Simple Tribe was founded by Eric and Mimi McMillian in 2020 as way to fund their non-profit organization Not Forgotten.

  • Release Purpose, Awakening Dreams.

    Not Forgotten is a registered 501(c)3 and works closely with a preschool and kids club in Ikageng, South Africa to train and empower teachers to create a safe place for children to learn. They also provide four meals a day to students, monthly wellness checks, movement classes, and an environment where dreams are encouraged.

  • Growing in Skills.

    To make this dream a reality, Eric travelled to Austin, Texas and for six months, served as an apprentice to John Dixson, a U.S. Barista World Series Champion who also created an award-winning espresso blend.

  • Live on Mission.

    Today, Simple Tribe Coffee has been able to incorporate Eric and Mimi’s love for coffee with their true calling in life which is to serve others and display the love of Jesus through authentic life on life relationships. Their mission is to bring an end to relational poverty through the experiences of “Craft Coffee, Craft Culture, and Craft Community.”

Our mission at Simple Tribe Coffee is to bring an end to relational poverty as we craft coffee, culture, and community.

Coffee - Crafted coffee is exceptional by itself, but when shared with others and those you love it’s inspirational and healing to the soul.  Relationships become authentic, lives are changed, and memories are created. 

Culture - Crafted culture experience highlighting the coffee’s and culinary tastes from our missionary journeys where we have enjoyed coffee, engaged culture, and created community.

Community - Crafted community experience where our values of Hospitality, Compassion, and Sustainability engage society on an authentic and personal level that seeks to empower and inspire all to live life on a mission.
